The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce has a number of involvement programs that will allow you and your company the opportunity to be noticed, and reach new and existing customers while supporting Chamber events, programs and services. Whether you are looking to volunteer, advertise, network, or just attend an event, the chamber has something for you.

Chamber Events

Business After 5 is a networking event, arranged by our host sponsors, allowing the Chamber to showcase members’ facilities. Members attend Business After Hours to make contacts and cultivate business relationships.

Annual Meeting is more of a celebration and showcases the Chamber’s accomplishments of the previous year as well as the achievements of the Richmond County Community. The event features heavy hors d’oeuvres, beverages, special entertainment and plenty of networking. This event is held during the first quarter of the New year.

Business on the Links is a great opportunity to showcase your company, golf with business clients and associates, network with local executives, and support the Richmond County Chamber of Commerce.

Industry Appreciation Oyster Roast is an event held each Fall. Local officials, key management, and employees are invited to this great event. This occasion is our way of saying thank you to the industries in our community for their investments.

Women’s Conference is an event focused on women in business who wish to build a strong network of women intent on inspiring one another to achieve individual potential; supporting each other in business endeavors, and creating a legacy through mentorship.

SpringFest at the Rock is an event held each April focused on family fun and togetherness. With a Kids Zone, face painter, merchandise vendors, food vendors, cook-off competitions, and live music, you won’t want to miss this opportunity!

Membership Services

Leadership Ambassadors are responsible for promoting a professional atmosphere in which to establish business contacts. Committee members serve as greeters at Chamber functions, welcome new members to the Chamber and encourage member participation through phone calls and personal contacts.

The Chamber’s Social Media Presence is a great platform to promote your business’ specials, anniversaries, announcements, etc.

Community Engagement: We distribute a newsletter every 2 weeks with updates on what is going on with our community and the businesses that help us thrive. Any Ribbon Cuttings or major community alerts are e-blasted to our members as well!

Education/Workforce Development

Leadership Richmond is a hands-on training conference designed to develop and enhance the leadership skills of Richmond County residents. Graduates are encouraged to apply their talents through community involvement in the Chamber of Commerce, other professional organizations, civic clubs, or in a public service capacity. Leadership Richmond is co-sponsored by the Chamber, Iron Horse Auction Company, Richmond Community College and North Carolina Cooperative Extension.

Richmond Young Professionals is a way for young citizens to network and have open discussion once a month, often with educational events with guest speakers. Individuals between the ages of 21-40 can be a part of this amazing resource of social and professional networking in Richmond County while contributing time & talents back to the community through volunteer work to continue to make Richmond County a great place to live, work, and play.
